Dr. Jeffrey McCardle graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2015, where he trained and studied advanced implantology procedures. In addition to receiving multiple hours of continuing education each year, he is also a member of the American Dental Association®, the California Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Having practiced for over five years in the area, his goal as a dentist is to help patients establish and maintain excellent dental health by providing the best dental care possible. Outside of the office, Dr. McCardle enjoys spending time with his three boys and going golfing with them.

Dr. Kennedy received a bachelor’s degree from Emory University in 2002 and Cal State University, Northridge in 2014. He graduated from Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2016 with his master’s in dentistry and graduated from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2020 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kennedy constantly continues his education because he has a passion for it and believes continuing to grow as a clinician is paramount to his profession. He completed the Whitecap Institute Implant Pathway course and will be receiving his AGD Fellowship in the summer of 2023, which illustrates his commitment to furthering his dental knowledge. Dr. Kennedy is a member of the American Dental Association®, Academy of General Dentistry, Arizona Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Kern County Dental Association. Dr. Kennedy has been practicing dentistry for three years and his goal as a dentist is to take care of his patients to the best of his abilities. He aims to give them the best treatment and care that they deserve. He challenges himself to preserve and when needed, restore their oral conditions to their natural state.

Dr. Kennedy’s wife, Erika, is currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. Recently, his family expanded as they welcomed their son, Ruairi Brady (now 6 months old). They have two dogs, Layla and Uncle Fester, who are a big part of their family. Outside of work, Dr. Kennedy enjoys hiking, camping and skiing. He is a huge outdoor enthusiast

Dr. Mandy Chen is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smile. Her journey into dentistry began at the University of the Pacific, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. Driven by a passion for helping others, she continued her education at the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in 2020. Afterward, she honed her skills through a general practice residency at the Sacramento VA Medical Center.

Dr. Chen’s commitment to excellence is reflected in her ongoing dedication to learning and growth within the field. She is an active member of several esteemed organizations, including the American Dental Association®, the California Dental Association, the Kern County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Most recently, she became a fellow at the highly esteemed Resnik Implant Institute, which involves taking over 200 hours of continuing education and passing a test. In recognition of her outstanding work, she was honored as a Top Dentist of 2022 by Women in Medicine Magazine.

Her philosophy of care centers around creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Chen is especially passionate about helping patients overcome dental anxiety, using a gentle approach and genuine compassion to make every visit a positive experience.

When she’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Chen enjoys an active lifestyle alongside her husband and their two adorable dogs, Alfred and Nala. A former high school cross-country runner, she still loves hitting the trails and has recently completed her lifetime goal of running a marathon. Whether she’s running, spending time with family, or making a difference in her community, Dr. Chen’s positive spirit shines through in everything she does.

Dr. Brian Kim is an established and highly skilled dentist with over 30 years of experience in general dentistry and orthodontics. He has been delivering compassionate dental care to residents of Kern County and has earned a great reputation for his quality and patient-centered care.

He strongly believes in building relationships based on trust, helping you make informed decisions about your dental care.

Dr. Kim first had the inspiration to enter the field of dentistry as a teen, when he realized how much his classmates and even some of the adults he knew feared going to the dentist. He wanted to make the experience more patient-friendly and comfortable, and he decided that the best way to do it was to become a dentist himself. He attended the University of California, Irvine, for undergraduate studies and received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Richard Malouf, a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1990, is a respected and experienced dentist in the Southern California area. He also completed his undergraduate studies at Southwest State University, now known as Texas State University. Dr. Malouf’s commitment to staying at the forefront of dentistry led him to pursue advanced training from respected institutions such as the American Orthodontic Society and the Hahn Implant Institute.

As an active member of the American Orthodontics Society, Dr. Malouf maintains a strong professional network and is constantly improving his skills to provide the highest level of care for his patients. His dedication to excellence has been recognized with the Clinical Excellence Award. With over three years of experience in the community, Dr. Malouf has earned a reputation for his exceptional skills and commitment to providing a “wow” factor in dental services.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Malouf enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is a proud father to three wonderful children named Richie, Gavin and Sunny. In his free time, he finds joy in outdoor activities, including water sports and pickleball. Dr. Malouf’s passion for delivering compassionate and excellent care extends beyond the dental office, as he strives to be loving and joyful to all those he encounters.

Dr. Zachary Scott, D.D.S., is a dedicated professional who graduated from the University of the Pacific, School of Dental Medicine in 2019. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Scott brings over five years of experience to the Bakersfield area and is committed to making his patients feel comfortable, happy and confident while delivering excellent dental health services. He values building trusting relationships with his patients and pursues ongoing education, completing 60 hours every two years. Dr. Scott is also trained in Invisalign to enhance his treatment offerings. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, including his two daughters, Hazel and Mackenzie, and his wife, Amy. His passion for fishing and free diving also plays a significant part in his life, offering him a refreshing break from his professional duties.

Dr. Stephen R. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Science in natural sciences and an Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene. He furthered his education at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991. Dr. Wilson spent two years in San Francisco, before embarking on a decade-long tenure in Honolulu, Hawaii. Presently, he has been practicing in the Bakersfield community since 2003.

Passionate about orthodontics, he has undergone extensive training in both traditional and clear aligner technology, holding a certificate of completion from Progressive Orthodontics Seminars. Dr. Wilson is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association® (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and Kern County Dental Society (KCDS).

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys pursuing his hobby of portrait photography alongside his wife Daniela, with whom he shares a joyful family life with their two Shih Tzus. Raised in Bakersfield and a proud graduate of Highland High School, Dr. Wilson is dedicated to serving his community with excellence and compassion.

Dr. Jennifer Arce Cacho’s passion for dentistry started early—at just 15, she was already working in her aunt’s dental office, an experience that shaped her deep commitment to patient care. From the very beginning, she understood that dentistry isn’t just about treating teeth—it’s about building lasting relationships and making a real impact on people’s lives.

She pursued her love for science with a degree in biology, specializing in cell and molecular biology at San Diego State University. Her journey then took her to CEU Manila, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015. But her commitment to dentistry didn’t stop there. From 2015 to 2020, she participated in life-changing dental missions in the Philippines and Mexico, providing care to underserved communities.

Determined to expand her expertise, Dr. Arce Cacho earned a second Doctor of Dental Medicine degree through the advanced standing program for international dentists at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2022. She continuously seeks opportunities to grow, with advanced training in Invisalign® clear aligners and ongoing education in pediatric dentistry under intravenous anesthesia. Looking ahead, she plans to deepen her skills in dental implants to provide even more comprehensive care.

Her mission? To empower patients with the knowledge and care they need to achieve not just a healthy smile, but overall well-being. She believes in the powerful connection between oral health and total-body health, making patient education a cornerstone of her practice.

Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys life in Bakersfield with her fiancé, their two sons, her mother, and their three beloved dogs. She’s a lifelong learner, currently studying Filipino and Spanish, and loves spending time reading and exploring new places with her family.

Dr. Sukhmandeep Randhawa earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in India and practiced dentistry in India for two years before attending Universidad de la Salle Bajio in Mexico, from which she graduated in 2021. Dr. Randhawa completes continuing education courses regularly to stay abreast of the latest developments in dental care, and in 2025 will complete an AAID implant course to advance her knowledge and expertise in dental implants.

Dr. Randhawa is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association®, California Dental Association and the Kern County Dental Society. As a dentist, Dr. Randhawa is dedicated to serving her local community through providing the highest possible quality of dental care. She has practiced in the Bakersfield area since 2021.

Outside of the office, Dr. Randhawa enjoys spending quality time with her family. She and her husband are proud parents to two beautiful children — a son and a daughter — who keep their lives busy and full of joy. When she isn’t with her patients or family, Dr. Randhawa loves to express her creativity in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and preparing delicious meals. She also finds relaxation in listening to her favorite music, which adds balance to her fulfilling life as both a professional and a mother.

Dr. Mark Elkedwani attended California State University in Long Beach for his undergraduate studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in general biology. He attended dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, from which he graduated in 2023. He regularly advances his knowledge and skills as a dentist through continuing education courses, and has received training in advanced extractions and a certification from Nobel BioCare for surgical implant placements. He has practiced in Bakersfield since 2023 and is a member of the California Dental Association.

As a dentist, Dr. Mark is passionate about providing his patients with the highest level of care in a comfortable and friendly environment. His priorities are his patient’s oral health and overall wellbeing. He is grateful for and humbled by his patients who have chosen to trust him with their dental care, and looks forward to welcoming those who are considering joining our practice and helping them achieve their dental health goals.

Outside the office, Dr. Mark’s hobbies include playing table tennis, pickleball and working out.

Diplomate Certified, American Board of Oral Implantology, Implant Dentistry

As a Bakersfield native, Dr. Richard Casteen has been practicing in the area since 1989. His father, William F. Casteen, MD, and sister, Carol Casteen, MD, have both been ophthalmologists here for many years. After graduating from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1987, Dr. Casteen became a diplomate for the American Board of Oral Implantology as well as a fellow for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Misch Implant Institute. He is also a current member of the ADA® and the CDA.

In his work, Dr. Casteen places great care and consideration when helping rebuild the mouths of his patients. He strives to help each of his patients improve not only the beauty but the function and overall comfort of their smiles as well. Outside of the office, he enjoys flying airplanes near his home in the Santa Ynez Valley. He also has a passion for sail boating and the arts. He developed a theater company in Los Angeles called Tom Cats, which produced original plays as well as the classics. Dr. Casteen also has a love for animals, and he feeds more stray cats and dogs in Bakersfield than you can imagine.

Prosthodontist, Maxillofacial Prosthetics

In 1983, Dr. Robert Willis graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Over the years, he has achieved a vast amount of training in implant dentistry and a specialty certificate in prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics. Dr. Willis is a well-established member of the American Dental Association®, the International Academy of Osseointegration and the American College of Prosthodontists.

Dr. Willis has over 30 years of experience serving patients with quality dentistry. His greatest goal as a dentist is to use his many years of experience and specialty training to help his patients. He aims to improve the quality of life for his patients while still helping them enjoy their dental treatment along the way.

Outside the office, Dr. Willis is an avid supporter of animal rescue. He also has a passion for vintage motorcycles, sports cars, cooking, cycling and ‘70s rock and roll. Dr. Willis is a father of two children. His son is currently an Army Ranger training for the special forces, and his daughter is a third-year veterinary medical student.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Robert Sharobiem graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2009 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine. As a Board-Certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Sharobiem makes a point to continue his education every year and has received advanced training in oral surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York.

Dr. Sharobiem is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He was also awarded the 2013 AAOMS Humanitarian Award and the Vitals Patients Choice Award.

With over 10 years of experience providing quality care to his patients, Dr. Sharobiem considers his primary goal in oral surgery to provide personal care to each and every patient while alleviating any pre-operative anxiety and minimizing post-operative discomfort. It’s very important to Dr. Sharobiem that each patient has a positive experience.

Dr. Sharobiem has an amazing niece and nephew whom he loves spending time with. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys reading, doing crossword puzzles, traveling, hiking, basketball, bowling, trying new foods and volunteering at church as well as overseas medical missions.

Anesthesiologist

Dr. Bipin is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he obtained his MD. He completed his surgical internship and anesthesiology residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital of Columbia University in New York. He is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Patel has been working in all facets of anesthesiology. During surgery, Dr. Patel ensures the course of anesthetic is safe and smooth and the recovery is without any event or incidents; his thoroughness is impeccable. With every anesthetic he administers anti-nausea medication, pain medication and medication to decrease the swelling from dental surgery.
