Capital Dental Group is committed to the safety and well-being of patients and staff and is strictly following the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, American Dental Association and Kern County Public Health Department. Here’s what we’re doing:
- Patient and Employee Screening: Patients are asked screening questions in order to schedule an appointment and have their temperature checked upon entry into the office. Staff also undergoes screening every day.
- Face Coverings and Increased Cleanliness: Patients must wear face coverings at all times, except during a procedure. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office and all high-contact surfaces will be wiped with disinfectant frequently. Dental staff will wear face shields, masks, gowns, and gloves during patient care and front-office staff will wear masks throughout the day.
- Limited Occupancy and Social Distancing: Only patients will be allowed in the office. Only one parent will be permitted with a young child. Others will be asked to wait outside whenever possible. Social-distancing measures will be strictly enforced. Patients will have the option to wait in their cars with Capital Dental Group’s restaurant-style paging system.
- Contactless Payment Options: Prepayment by credit card over the phone is encouraged. Capital Dental Group will continue to accept cash, but staff will not be able to make change. If you choose to pay with cash, please bring the exact amount; otherwise, a credit will be generated on your account that can be refunded in a timely manner.
